I absolutely love the bright and fun colors in 090907TaishoMarisopa by =dejichan! The amount of detail found in this piece is truly stunning, especially in that wing! Everything about this piece is just a ton of fun and happy!

Description
Haven't worked with colored pencils in ages!
It was fun XP
About the title:
"Marisopa" is a misspeling of "Mariposa", which means "butterfly" in spanish. The girl in the picture (original char of mine) is named Marisopa. My first language is Spanish, btw...
Taisho is a japanese era from 1912 to 1926. There is an art style from around that period called "Taisho Romantic" or "Taisho Roman". Kimonos with Taisho Roman patterns are very colorful and pretty, and a couple fo them inspired the patterns on this picture :3
Hope you like it
Original size: 8,5x11 - ish
Tools: old scrap piece of Opaline paper, Faber-castell Polychromos
Colors on the picture are more vivid than the original. The bg on paper is so desaturated it's almost gray in reality xD;
